Personal coaching for men

When you know
there is more.

More connection in your relationship. More confidence in your direction. More creativity, curiosity, and inspiration in the way you live.

Coaching for men who are ready to understand what is no longer working and create a more conscious way forward.

What brings men here

When you know the old way is no longer enough.

Men arrive at this work for different reasons. These are three of the most common places we begin.

01 / Relationship

Your relationship feels disconnected.

The emotional or sexual connection has faded. Conversations become defensive, repetitive, or leave both of you feeling misunderstood. You may know that your intentions are genuine, but your partner is experiencing you differently.

Coaching helps you understand what is happening beneath those interactions, communicate without defensiveness, and change how you show up—without losing yourself in the process.

02 / Direction

You know something needs to change—but not what.

You may be choosing a direction for the first time, questioning a career that no longer fits, or feeling that the life you built has stopped moving forward. You know the current situation isn’t sustainable, but you don’t yet have the clarity or confidence to make a change.

Coaching helps you identify what matters now, choose a meaningful next step, and build momentum through practical changes that strengthen your confidence and self-trust.

03 / Creativity

Something in you has gone quiet.

Your life may be functioning, but curiosity, creativity, and inspiration have faded into the background. You want to feel more engaged with your life, but you may not know what is missing or where to begin.

Coaching helps you reconnect with the creative part of yourself, see your life from a different angle, and discover new possibilities. Creativity isn’t only about making art—it is the ability to imagine a life beyond the patterns and solutions you already know.

The common thread

Different problems can point to the same disconnection.

You have become disconnected from what is true and alive within you. This work helps you hear it again—and build a life from there.

How coaching works

A practical loop for lasting change.

The work is not linear. What happens in your real life gives us new information, which we bring back into coaching and use to move forward with greater awareness.

01

See clearly where you are

We begin with an honest look at your life—what matters to you, what is working, and what isn’t. This gives us a clear starting point and shows us where change could have the greatest impact.

02

Connect to your truth

You learn to move out of constant analysis, notice what your body and emotions are telling you, and put that truth into words. You also learn when a situation calls for direction and decisive action—and when it calls for openness, listening, and connection.

03

Practice it in your real life

We bring the work into the conversations, conflicts, relationships, and decisions happening now. You practice aligning what you feel with what you say and do, then we look honestly at what worked and what didn’t.

Then we return to the beginning. Each experience reveals something new. We adjust, practice again, and build lasting change through small, meaningful successes.

About Bentley

My coaching is rooted in lived experience—in the journey that challenged me to grow and change.

For more than twenty years, I’ve been immersed in men’s work—first as a participant, then as a mentor and group leader, and for the past seven years as a retreat facilitator. Real change began for me when I learned to stop trying to figure everything out in my head and move into my heart, where I could connect with what was actually true for me. I’ve learned to measure progress through small, meaningful successes. Each honest choice builds on the one before it.

Before making coaching the center of my work, I spent decades building and leading businesses in real estate development and private lending. That life sharpened my business instincts and taught me how to celebrate the wins, recover from the losses, and keep moving through uncertainty. It also showed me that external success can still feel empty when your inner life is out of alignment.

My training includes a bachelor’s degree in fine art from UCLA and a master’s degree in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica. I spent five years volunteering in a counseling role at Southern California Counseling Center and also worked with Clean Slate, supporting men as they rebuilt their lives. I’m a painter as well, and I taught oil painting for eight years. Creativity remains fundamental to my approach because meaningful change asks us to see familiar problems from a different angle.

Today, I bring those worlds together—business experience, leadership, creativity, emotional honesty, and practical action—to help men turn insight into a life aligned with who they are and the purpose they feel called to live.

The first step

A more honest life starts with one honest conversation.

No pitch. No performance. Just a chance to talk about where you are, what you want to change, and whether working together feels right.
